New to Scouting?

Why Join Our Troop? Because Outing is 3/4 Scouting!

Our troop does monthly activities including camping, rifle shooting, archery, canoeing, swimming, hiking and more!
We have visited such places as Washington DC for week long adventure and learning. We even got into the White House!
We are the oldest, most active troop in West Haven, having a history that spans Fifty Years of fun and community service.

We have regular meetings where we practice for our outings by learning first aid, wilderness survival, maps and compasses, and earn rank.
If you join our troop you can run for leadership positions and influence where we go and what we do.
The adults aren't in charge, scouts are! Every scout has an equal say in what we do and where we go.

We meet every Thursday night, 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the basement of St. Lawrence Church.

Our troop is open to boys who are 11 through 17 years old, or 10 years old and have earned their Arrow of Light [Cub Scouting Award], or have completed the fifth grade.
